Due to the weather conditions that have taken place this past week and the continued forecast throughout the weekend for Avery Island, we regret to inform you that our Easter Event is cancelled. On behalf of McIlhenny Company, we apologize for the short notice. We would have loved to celebrate this holiday season with our community here on Avery Island.
We will begin refunding all tickets that have been purchased for the event now. You can expect to receive the refunded payment in full within the next few business days.

Celebrate Springtime on Avery Island with fresh air and festivities the whole family can enjoy! Join us for an afternoon of Easter fun in Jungle Gardens on Saturday, March 24th at 11 a.m.
*All Easter egg hunts will begin promptly at 1:00 PM.
Tickets are $8.00 per person.
Admissions will include: entrance into Jungle Gardens, Easter egg hunts for multiple age groups, Easter Bunny meet-and-greet with a photo, an Easter animal petting zoo, tons of games to play for the chance to win prizes, and more!
(Easter egg dying, face painting, food and drinks will be available for an additional charge.)

Avery Island Louisiana - The Jungle Gardens at Avery Island will host the 3rd Annual Jungle Gardens 5K, Trail Run, Stroll, and 1 mile fun run to be held on November 5, 2016. The event will begin at 8 am with a full schedule of events. The running event will be immediately followed by food, entertainment, and awards. All entrants will have a full day pass to explore the gardens and enjoy the area. The race will include a new 4-5 mile trail run and a stroll for those who would just like to walk the course and enjoy the scenery. Event organizers (Team FSS) are donating all proceeds to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and are expecting a large field of runners and walkers for the inaugural event. The event is being sponsored by Fire & Safety Specialists and organized by Team FSS St. Jude. The course will be unique to other races in the area and will feature hills that no other area race can match. The course layout will make for a tough and rewarding run, excellent for advanced as well as novice runners. The scenic beauty will only add to the great experience of the day.
Mark your calendar on Saturday, October 22nd from 12pm-4pm for a monstrously good time with your kids at Avery Island's first Fall Fest that will be held at Jungle Gardens!

2. How do I reserve a spot?
Reserving a spot is very easy, all you have to do is email junglegardens@tabasco.com with the following information:
*A name to place the reservation under
*How many adults
*How many children
*How many pumpkins would your party like to carve (1 pumpkin per person)
3. When do I pay for the tickets?
You can choose to pay the day you arrive either by cash or by credit card or you can pay in advance over the phone by calling us at 337-369-6243.
The egrets have returned to the wildfowl refuge at Willow Pond, that is now called Bird City, and are now nesting on the rookeries.
